Yahoo has been on a bit of a spending spree of late, and this morning it acquired two small startups, GoPollGo and Milewise.

With all the recent acquisitions and acqui-hires, she’ll have quite the team of talented developers behind her as she steers the ship in a new direction.
The small team behind frequent flier search startup Milewise will relocate to New York to join the Stamped team, another recent Yahoo purchase. All five members of the team will be folded into Yahoo and will be dedicated to mobile development. It’s a similar story for GoPollGo, a polling tool and app based in Palo Alto, Calif.

This news comes just one week after Yahoo acquired Astrid, an organization app for mobile, and just a few short months after a media firestorm erupted over Yahoo’s purchase of Summly, a news summarization app with a teenage founder.
Mayer appears to have her eye on video to bolster Yahoo’s content offering. AllThingsD’s Kara Swisher reports that she met with execs from premium video service Hulu to discuss a potential acquisition.
In the wake of the announcements, GoPollGo and Milewise are promptly being shut down.
