As more and more web activity and commerce takes place on mobile phones, Seattle-based Billing Revolution wants provide the technology powering those transactions. It’s far from the only mobile billing company, of course, so when it first announced its platform last year, Billing Revolution emphasized the ease of use for consumers — once you’ve authenticated your identity by clicking a link in a text message, you can make additional purchases from your phone with just one click.

More recently, Billing Revolution has been announcing deals to integrate with the payment platforms that merchants are already using on their websites, such as Authorize.net, so from the business’ perspective they’re getting all their payments in one place. There are 45,000 merchants using PayFlow, the company says, and Billing Revolution will be the first company to take that service to mobile phones.

The company has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from SK Telecom Ventures.
