Now that Black Friday has arrived, Apple is offering to donate a portion of all sales from its stores to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.
For today only, anyone making a purchase in the Apple store will receive a gift card up to $100. So if you buy an iPad, you’ll not only get a tablet but also a $50 gift card. In addition, Apple says it will donate a portion of the money for each gift card distributed.
The gift card amounts are as follows:
- $25: Apple TV,iPod nano, iPod touch, or some Beats by Dre headphones.
- $50: iPad.
- $100: Mac.
On Monday, which is World AIDS Day, the company will donate a portion of all sales at Apple’s online and retail stores to the global fund.
