The ideal customer is a company that has to quickly get access to the minutest of details in a data record — like a health care provider that needs access to a patient’s history. The company uses a freemium model — which teases users with basic features in the hope that they will upgrade to a premium version that has more features — for its main product. The freemium business model has seen a lot of success in the enterprise world, with companies like cloud storage provider Box.net and enterprise social network Yammer able to generate tons of users by starting with base-level employees.
The Washington, D.C.-based company was founded in 2009. It is self-funded and has seven employees.
