Former Yankees player Derek Jeter announced today that his venture arm is investing in StopIt, an app that fights cyberbullying. Jeter’s youth organization, Turn 2 Foundation, also announced it is partnering with StopIt with the goal of helping elementary and high school students report cyber abuse.

The baseball legend declined to share the amount invested, but his sister, Sharlee Jeter, said that “putting a stop to bullying aligns perfectly with the mission of the Turn 2 Foundation.” Turn 2 says its mission is “to create and support signature programs and activities that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and ‘Turn 2’ healthy lifestyles.”
