Robin, a Boston-based startup that helps businesses book office and conference spaces, announced today that it received an investment from furniture design giant Herman Miller in a previously announced round.
As part of the partnership, “Robin gets to be helpful earlier in the office design and planning process, which means a better experience and more thoughtful setup,” said Robin CEO Sam Dunn.
“Plus, we get to learn from decades of workplace design and thinking,” he added.
Last week, Robin announced that it had raised $7 million led by FirstMark Capital, with the VC firm’s partner Amish Jani joining the startup’s board as part of the deal. That $7 million figure includes Herman Miller’s contribution.
