Pantheon, a website management service for Drupal and WordPress, announced today that it scored a $28.5 million series C funding round led by Foundry Group and Scale Venture Partners.
The latest investment will be used to expand Pantheon’s technology and “fuel the company’s continued reinvention of the web hosting space,” the startup said.
“The new funding demonstrates confidence in our approach, which takes the heavy lifting out of hosting and development for digital agencies and corporate web developers by providing the development tools and scalable infrastructure they need to build amazing web experiences, launch faster, and maximize their team’s efficiency,” said Pantheon CEO and cofounder Zack Rosen.
Industry Ventures and OpenView Investment Partners also participated in the investment.
