Ev Williams, one of the pioneers of the blogging industry, is leaving Google, and more significantly, the company he helped create. Williams’ company Pyra Labs started Blogger five years ago. The service popularized blogging, bringing the idea of push-button publishing to the masses. Google bought Blogger in early 2003. Maybe Ev will follow in the footsteps of that other Pyra Labs co-founder.
