Fabric Labs announces Twitter integration tools for Unity game developers

Have you ever played a mobile game and thought, “I really want to read Twitter, like, right now!”

I haven’t, but never mind me. I’m a weirdo. If you’re a mobile game developer, however, who wants to cater to the Twitter-obsessed masses, and your project is being developed on the Unity platform, you’ll like what Fabric Labs has done. This part of Twitter’s development arm has dropped some tools on your workbench that you’ll be interested in.

Announced today at Twitter’s Flight 2015 event, Twitter now supports Unity with a handful of services. Obviously, topping the list is Twitter Kit, the company’s integration toolset that allows developers to embed the social media platform into their project.

Fabric Labs is also bringing its popular bug analytics suite, Crashlytics, to the Unity game development engine. Crashlytics collects, charts, and builds out a variety of visual data modules based off of an application’s crash reports. Fabric Labs is also bringing its advertisement integration toolset, MoPub, to Unity developers.

Unity is already a versatile game engine solution, with several developers already creating affordable plugins and tool sets for it.
