Facebook is in a mood to upgrade.
The Menlo Park-based social media kingpin launched yet another new update, this time to its popular Embedded Posts feature. This means that your ability to take posts from your Facebook page and embed them to your personal website or blog is enhanced and easier.

Facebook engineers have sped up load times and per-publisher default widths so you don’t have to tweak posts after they’ve been placed. Another new feature means Embedded Posts can now display images and videos above the posts’ texts, Facebook said.
Facebook unveiled Embedded Posts last summer. At the time, the company described the feature as a “plugin that lets you easily add public posts from Facebook to your blog or website.” The feature proved popular, and was launched with customers including CNN and People magazine.

The upgrade means Facebook is taking visuals seriously. Indeed, Facebook characterized Embedded Posts as “a new design that puts visual content first.”
Facebook said FB Newswire and Trending features have also been improved. The latter allows users the ability to find topics popular on the site. FB Newswire is a resource for reporters and media types that aggregates topographical stories coursing through the Facebook site.
