Fallout 4’s NukaWorld theme park is revealed in a new trailer

Publisher Bethesda has released a new trailer for NukaWorld, the next and final piece of downloadable content for Fallout 4. It comes out on August 30. Fallout 4 originally released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10, 2015. The open-world role-playing game was an immediate hit, generating $750 million in 24 hours. New content like this can bring players back to the game while having them spend more money.

NukaWorld is the final planned DLC for Fallout 4, following Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, and Vault-Tec Workshop.

“Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone,” Bethesda detailed in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “Lead lethal gangs of Raiders, and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride!”

NukaWorld’s themed lands and Mickey-sounding mascot are having some fun at Disney’s expense. Fallout games take place in postapocalyptic (by way of rampant nuking) versions of real cities like Washington D.C. or Las Vegas. Fallout 4 takes place in Boston. Would such an expensive theme park with so many outdoor areas really exist in a place with cold, snowy winters?
