Who hasn’t had to stay home waiting for a cable guy to show up during a three-hour window … which is inevitably missed?
FieldAware, a cloud management solution for field service organizations, is more than aware of your problem. And it just announced a $24 million round of funding to expand operations.

This round of funding is supposed to help FieldAware expand its product offerings and take on new clients.
Field service management is increasingly moving towards software to the cloud and away from individual business servers. Companies that are making the switch are getting paid too. As an example, ServiceMax, which also serves up cloud solutions for field service management, just took in $71 million in March. No doubt, FieldAware has some big competition in this arena.
