After much anticipation and a bit of a false start, digital magazine service Flipboard is finally ready to release its new Windows Phone application.
Flipboard’s service allows you to get a curated crop of fresh news stories on mobile devices from a variety of sources based on what you (and even friends on social media) are interested in. The interface is meant to mimic that of a traditional (aka paper) magazine.

As part of the launch, Flipboard said the app will be pre-loaded on Microsoft’s Lumia 830 phone.
The app is now available in the Windows Phone app store. Check out the demo video from Flipboard for a closer look at the app in action.
