FLO TV is a mobile video-on-demand service that serves 13 TV networks in real-time. “No downloading, sideloading, or buffering,” the company describes it. But until now, you’ve had to buy a $250 FLO TV portable personal television to watch it on, plus a $14.95-per-month subscription to the shows.

Today, FLO and iPhone accessories maker Mophie announced that FLO TV will soon be incorporated into Mophie’s Juice Pack, which clips onto an iPhone to add a rechargable extra battery that Mophie claims doubles the phone’s battery life between charges. You’ll need that if you’re watching live TV. An app will browse and play FLO content.
Why bother streaming live TV when you can download them from iTunes? Because you don’t have to wait for the shows to appear 
in the store, and there are shows on FLO you can’t buy on iTunes at all. (I’m waiting to hear back from the company on specific examples. Wish me luck with that on the first day of the Consumer Electronics Show.)

Pricing for the enhanced Juice Pack hasn’t been announced, but there are currently $79 and $99 versions of the packs. iPhone users will also need to purchase a $14.95 monthly subscription to FLO.
