Fluxx, which collects data from a number of enterprise services like Salesforce.com and displays it on a unified user interface, launched today at VentureBeat’s DEMO Fall 2011 conference.

The company makes a unified web-based interface based off HTML5, which is largely seen as a successor to Flash, a cross-platform programming architecture that powers most modern web applications. That interface, which has an almost Twitter-like feel to it, brings in data from enterprise applications like Salesforce.com’s customer relationship management (CRM) software and Zendesk’s customer service ticketing application.

“Fluxx brings all the data the runs your company together into one easy‐to-use, beautiful unified user interface – all in real-time,” Fluxx vice president of operations Kerrin Mitchell told VentureBeat. “Since our initial implementation of Fluxx in early 2011, our existing customer base has grown with very little marketing and sales efforts, with projected revenue of $1mm for our first year of operating.”

Many modern enterprise companies are taking a shotgun approach to partnering and including external services. That’s because most of those companies release application programming interfaces (APIs) that let programmers export data to other applications. For example, you can export CRM data from Salesforce.com’s online web application to Yammer, an enterprise social network. Fluxx is an entire application based on that philosophy.
