Shyp confirms $50 million raise, launches L.A. beta
Shyp confirms it’s raising $50 million in Series B funding led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB). The round brings Shyp’s total funding to $62.2 million.
The on-demand shipping service is also launching a beta program in LA today. Already, Shyp serves San Francisco, New York, and Miami.
Fashion site Poshmark raises $25M
Poshmark is today announcing it has raised $25 million so it can keep mining women’s closets.
This round, which brings the total raised by the company to $47.2 million since its founding in early 2011, came from Mayfield, Menlo Ventures, Inventus Capital, Union Grove Venture Partners, Shea Ventures, and SoftTech VC. Celebrity investors have included actor Ashton Kutcher and fashion stylist Rachel Zoe.
Online appointment booking startup MyTime raises $9.25M
Today San Francisco-based MyTime announced a $9.25 million raise led by Upfront Ventures. The company says it aims to use the new capital to “expand its sales and operations team and move deeper into merchant services.”
