Alteryx closes an $85M investment, valuation close to a billion
Data analytics startup Alteryx announced today that it closed an $85 million investment led by Iconiq Capital and Insight Venture Partners. The company’s valuation is “approaching $1 billion,” The New York Times reported, quoting “a person briefed on the terms.”

Luxury marketplace Paddle8 raises $34M
Marketplace for art and luxury collectibles Paddle8 raised $34M in its series C round, the startup announced today. Paddle8, which says it has a “community of over 500,000 collectors from more than 90 countries,” said that the capital came from multiple angel investors, including international art dealer David Zwirner, who also became a Paddle8 board member.
The luxury marketplace has a total of $44 million in funds.

Deep learning startup Enlitic raises $10M from radiology company Capitol Health
Enlitic, a startup using a type of artificial intelligence called deep learning to help radiologists do a better job of understanding medical images, is announcing today a $10 million round of funding. The money comes from Capitol Health Limited, a publicly traded company that provides diagnostic imaging services in clinics across Australia.
Enlitic started last year and is based in San Francisco. Around 15 people work for the startup; the headcount should double over the next year. To date Enlitic has raised $15 million, including the $2 million seed round announced last year.

Edgewater Capital leads $5M investment for HyPR Brands
HyPR Brands, a marketplace for brands and marketing agencies to find social media influencers, announced today that it took in a $5 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Edgewater Capital, while Silvertech Ventures and Star Farm Ventures followed.
The startup also announced the launch of its service, starting with a invite-only closed beta.
