Analytics startup Brandwatch announced today that it snagged a $33 million series C round led by Partech Ventures and Highland Europe. The company, which gathers and monitors social media sites, has raised at least $64 million total in investments.

Qvella, a Toronto-based medtech startup, secures $20M
MedTech startup Qvella announced today that it secured $20 million for its series A round. The investment was led by RA Capital Management and Whitecap Venture Partners.

Cargo Chief, a company that developed a cargo tracking technology to help shippers with logistics, announced yesterday that it took in a $10 million investment. Walden Venture Capital led the round, while Hunt Technology Ventures and GrowthX followed.

Vancouver-based startup Elastic Path Software raises $7.5M
Vancouver-based ecommerce startup Elastic Path Software raised around $7.5 million (CND $10M) in its latest funding round, the company announced today. Yaletown Venture Partners and the BDC Capital’s IT Venture Fund participated in the investment.
