H2O.ai raises $30M round led by Paxion Capital Partners

Machine learning developer H2O announced today that it took in a $20 million series B funding round. Paxion Capital Partners and Nexus Venture Partners led the investment, while Transamerica Corporation and Capital One Growth Ventures followed.

Six months after his departure from Yahoo, Mike Kail has reemerged as the cofounder and CIO of a security startup called Cybric. His new company, cofounded by Ernesto DiGiambattista, Andrew Gilman, and Sean Walter, is launching today with $1.3 million in seed funding behind it.
