Rent the Runway raises $60M

Rent the Runway, a company that lets women rent out luxury fashions for a small fee, announced it has raised $60 million in new funding. Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) led the round, with additional participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Highland Capital Partners, and Advance Publications, Inc. TCV general partner Daniel O’Keefe is joining the board as part of the deal.

Nice, aiming to be the Instagram of China, raises $36M

Tiger Global Fund-backed Nice, a photo sharing network gunning to fill the void left when China banned Instagram, has raised $36 million in funding. To date, Nice has publicly raised $64 million.

Personal finance app MoneyStream secures $3.2M

Los Gatos, California-based MoneyStream, maker of a personal finance and bill management app for iOS and Android, today announced its has secured at least $3.23 million in a public filing with the SEC.
