Car service startup Lyft is reportedly raising over $250 million
Yesterday news broke that Lyft is in the middle of raising a $250 million to $500 million round, at a valuation near $2 billion (making it 20 times smaller than Uber). We later heard that Lyft’s next round will fall closer to $250 million.
Messaging app maker Kindr secures $1.3M
Today Kindr, maker of a self-titled app which appears to be a cross between Yo and Snapchat, announced it has secured $1.34 million in a public filing. Founded in 2013 at Stanford University, Kindr may be seeking to raise as much as $1.7 million, according to the filing.
