Seattle-based “employee engagement technology provider” Limeade announced a $25 million raise today. The round was led by Oak HC/FT, and will be used (ambiguously) to develop “new products.”

San Francisco-based iMatchative, the company behind “data analytics platform and marketplace” AltX, today announced a $20 million raise from Wells Fargo, Control Empresarial de Capitales, and others.

Now SwiftStack rides the OpenStack wave, raising $16M

SwiftStack, a startup that has built object-storage software based on the Swift object-storage portion of OpenStack’s open-source cloud software, is announcing today a $16 million funding round, following on months of renewed interest in OpenStack.

San Francisco-based SwiftStack started in 2011. To date it has raised $23.6 million. OpenView Venture Partners led the new round. Mayfield Fund, Storm Ventures, and UMC Capital also participated.

Security startup nCrypted Cloud raises over $5 million

Boston-based nCrypted Cloud, a company that (you guessed it!) offers security services “for cloud data storage,” today announced a $5+ million funding round led by Maxfield Capital.

Meeting-prep app Lowdown picks up $250K

Lowdown, a startup with an iOS app that gives businesspeople key information about their upcoming meetings by drawing from multiple data sources, said yesterday that it has brought in $250,000 from the Indian Angel Network. The London-based startup claims to have 5,000 monthly active users.
