Hatched out of GIF search engine startup Giphy, the Giphy Cam is an iPhone app for recording GIFs and sharing them with friends.
We tried out the app last night — and the results were predictably bizarre:

Giphy is far and away not the first company to create a GIF camera app, but the Cam is certainly entertaining, speedy, and quirky enough to warrant a download. You can try it out for yourself here.
