Google today announced that this week it’s bringing the Reminders feature of Google Calendar — which first became available in December in the Google Calendar app for iOS and Android — to the web.
Reminders were one of the key features included in Google’s Inbox by Gmail app when it launched in 2014. A few months ago Reminders came to Google Calendar, with the ability to show them across Inbox, Google Keep, and Google Now. Now you’ll be able to see them when you’re using good old calendar.google.com.
“Reminders created in mobile show up on the web and vice versa. So you can stay on track from just about anywhere,” Google software engineer Erick Johnson wrote in a blog post.
Microsoft’s Outlook has reminders that work in association with calendar items and emails.

Reminders will stay at the top of Google Calendar until you check them off as complete, Johnson wrote.
