Google chief executive Sundar Pichai today announced that this year’s big Google I/O developer conference will be hosted at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, on May 18-20.
There’s some meaning behind the location.

Shoreline is a widely known concert venue that sits 22,500. So there will be plenty of room for attendees — more room than the Moscone West facility in San Francisco where I/O has taken place in the past few years.
