Today Google announced a new feature for its second-fiddle social network: polls.
The introduction of this feature comes with little surprise, as it closely follows Google’s September purchase of Polar, a popular polling service created by well-known interface designer Luke Wroblewski. At the time, Google+ engineering vice president Dave Besbris announced that Polar would be shut down by 2015 and that the Polar team will be assigned to make Google+ “as beautiful and simple to use as possible, especially on mobile devices.”
