Google today tweeted out an indication that it will unveil new devices on October 4. People have been expecting Google to at least show new mobile devices on that date, and the smartphone-shaped outline in the tweet confirms it.

The tweet contains a link to a page where you can sign up for information on “devices from Google and all the things you can do with them.”

The launch will come a few weeks after Apple unveiled the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, wireless AirPods, Beats wireless earphones and headphones, and the Apple Watch 2.

The tweet shows a Google logo, but reports have suggested that the new phones will be branded Pixel, rather than Nexus, Google’s previous mobile device brand. The 2016 Pixel smartphones are believed to be produced for Google on behalf of HTC, which has made Nexus phones in past years.

Though Google was working on its own first-party Project Ara smartphones, earlier this month, the company said it had suspended the project.

Google has not yet announced pricing or availability information for the Google Home smart speaker, which was first announced at the Google I/O developer conference in May. But the company could provide more details about the release of that device when it unveils the new mobile devices.

Update at 5:46 p.m. Pacific: VentureBeat just received an invitation to the event, which will take place in Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, starting at 9 a.m. The event will be streamed live on YouTube, according to the invitation.
