Huawei today is announcing that it’s beginning to sell its MediaPad tablets in the U.S. through Amazon. The M3, T1 7.0, and T1 10.0 varieties start shipping tomorrow, while the M2 will be available in December, according to a statement. These will be available alongside the Huawei MateBook convertible tablet running Windows 10.

At $349, the M2 is the most expensive of the bunch. The 10.1-inch device comes with a 1920×1200 resolution FHD display, HiSilicon Kirin 930 chip, a minimum of 16GB of storage and 2MB of LPDDR3 RAM, a 13MP back camera, a 5MP front camera, a 6660mAh battery, four speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a microUSB port, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack. But it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 on top.

The M3, at least, runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow — which is itself a full year behind Android 7.0 Nougat — and Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1. The 8.4-inch device has a 2560×1600 display, a HiSilicon Kirin octa-core chip, 32GB of storage, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 8MP front and rear cameras, a 5100 mAh battery, four speakers, a fingerprint scanner, a microUSB port, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack. But it costs $299.

The T1 tablets, in 7- and 9.6-inch flavors, are less expensive — $99 and $159, respectively — and are running Android 4.4 KitKat.

When it comes to smartphones, Huawei is No. 3 in the world, behind Apple and Samsung. In tablets Huawei ranks fifth. But as Americans become more familiar with its consumer electronics devices, the company could gain traction here, given Samsung’s Galaxy Note7 meltdown and the quality of Huawei’s phones. The P9 with dual cameras has been solid this year, and the newer Mate 9 also looks promising.
