IDrive just keeps making use of all that storage capacity that the drive makers are creating. The new IDrive One offers one terabyte of storage for $100 or two terabytes for $150.

The storage device, announced today at the 2016 International CES in Las Vegas, is accessible via fast Wi-Fi networks (based on the 802.11ac protocol) and a year of free IDrive cloud backup service.

The device competes with Western Digital’s Passport Wireless drive and Seagate’s Wireplus. IDrive said it has both beat in terms of speed and price.

You can use the IDrive to extend your phone storage, back up videos and photos, and otherwise store data. It frees up storage on the phone or computer, and all the data is encrypted on the drive using 256 AES encryption. The drive has a USB 3.0 connection. You can also stream movies, music, and photos from the IDrive One to iOS or Android mobile devices up to 150 feet away.
