Involver helps companies track their brands across Facebook, Twitter

Involver, a social media startup that helps brands manage their online communities, has launched a new set of marketing tools for companies to track how their following is growing. Marketers can also watch constantly updated analytics and see sentiment change.

Called AMP, or the audience management platform, the dashboard helps marketers watch their Twitter followers and Facebook fans from a single place, schedule content at regular times, and track interaction.

Involver, which has raised about $2 million, has grown to serve 80,000 clients including Facebook itself, the White House and Real Madrid. It’s competing in a crowded space where there are several companies, including HootSuite and CoTweet (which has been acquired by ExactTarget), that are trying to help brands reach out to potential customers on social networks.

AMP’s pricing scales up depending on how many pages or fans a brand wants to manage. The costs for Involver’s apps can be upwards of a thousand dollars a month for a brand with a large following or a few hundred dollars a month or even free for a much smaller one.
