iphone 5 global

The iPhone 5 global rollout is beginning this week. In a tablet handed down from the mountain (i.e., a press release) from Cupertino, Apple stated this morning the company’s latest smartphone will finally be hitting markets in new countries, from Russia and China to Panama and Kenya.

Right now, the device is available in 47 countries, including the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan and the United Kingdom; the new rollout will put the iPhone 5 in 54 additional countries.
