Newly permanent Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced today that he’s returning 1/3 of his stake in Twitter to the company’s employee equity pool. The reason for this move, Dorsey said, is “to reinvest directly in our people.”

Last week Dorsey said he would hand over more than 50 percent of his stake in Square to help underserved communities. What a nice young man.

Later, Jack said he’d “rather have a smaller part of something big than a bigger part of something small. I’m confident we can make Twitter big! [peace sign emoji].”
