Knightscope, a Silicon Valley and Tokyo-based startup specializing in robotics, has raised a $1 million seed round from NTT DOCOMO Ventures and unnamed angel investors.
Within its robotics focus, Knightscope has chosen an interesting target: it wants to “predict and prevent crime” with autonomous technology. It’s like Robocop meets the Roomba.
With this new round, Knightscope plans to begin beta testing its products.
