Don’t expect much to change with the iPhone 5S’s design — at least, judging from leaked photos from MacRumors.
The site has nabbed the closest look yet at what could be Apple’s next iPhone, but, sticking true to the minimal design changes in Apple’s iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S, the only major external difference from the iPhone 5 is a slightly larger camera flash window. That supports rumors that the iPhone 5S would feature a brighter dual LED flash.
MacRumors points out that the logic board in these images matches photos from earlier this week, and it’s distinctly different from the current iPhone 5. That’s a good sign that this is indeed the iPhone 5S we’re looking at. Among other changes, the photos show a slightly larger battery and an unlabeled Apple chip (which will likely be faster than the iPhone 5’s A6 chip).

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 5S later this year along with cheaper multi-colored iPhone models. The most recent rumors also point to Apple exploring bigger iPhones with 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch screens, which will appear next year.
