South Korean electronics giant LG is moving into the fitness gadgets market with the announcement of its Lifeband fitness band and a pair of stereo headphones that detect your heartbeat.
Both devices work with iOS or Android mobile apps and give you data such as how many steps you’ve taken. The announcements — made at the huge 2014 International CES tech trade show in Las Vegas this week — show that wearable tech remains a hot category.

It has on organic light-emitting display (OLED) that is touch sensitive. You can use it to find out the time, answer phone calls, and read smartphone notifications. It shows you your steps, while the earphones show you your heart rate.
It connects via Bluetooth Smart low-energy wireless to your smartphone.
