Wearable technology developer LifeBeam announced today that it scored a $16 million investment led by Squarepeg Capital.
The funds from the round will help LifeBeam further develop its “awareable” products, which promise users the “most personalized and insight-driven workout experience.”
“The LifeBeam team has taken its impressive track record of success with the most innovative consumer brands, to create a breakthrough new product,” said Squarepeg Capital managing partner Philippe Schwartz. “Their hard work around hardware excellence, data analytics, and experience personalization has paid dividends in this new release.”
LifeBeam’s technology has powered products for Samsung and Under Armour, among others. The company also makes its own line of smart hats, visors, and helmets, as well as high-end gear for aerospace and defense clients.
