Your next dream job could be at your current company.
It sounds counterintuitive, but LinkedIn aims to make employees more aware of new opportunities within their companies. It’s rolling out a feature it calls Internal Job Recommendations, which shows employees open positions inside their current employer.

“In fact, Johnson Controls saw employee engagement increase by more than 350 percent, and last month, more employees applied for an internal position via LinkedIn than conducted a search on the company’s internal search engine.”

Internal Job Recommendations will soon be available to LinkedIn corporate customers with more than 100 job listings.
LinkedIn also announced two major enhancements for recruiters: an updated recruiter profile page and new recruiter mobile apps.
The Recruiter Profile 2.0 features a recruiter toolbar, which puts common actions — like saving member profiles to clipboards or adding notes — in one place. It also adds a Similar Profiles module, which serves up new prospects similar to the candidate you’re reviewing.
On mobile, recruiters are getting an enhanced iPhone app and a new Android app (with the same functionality as the iOS app). They enable recruiters to perform common actions like conducting searches, sending InMails, sharing profiles with hiring managers, and more. Both apps are free for existing recruiter seat holders.
