Luxe is launching a program aimed at drivers who frequently find themselves using the on-demand parking valet service. Starting today, the company is offering not only the choice of three monthly subscription plans, but also one that’s centered around the care of your vehicle while it’s in the custody of a Luxe attendant.
“We believe that the parking and car ownership experience doesn’t need to be expensive or stressful,” wrote Luxe’s vice president of product management, Phil Farhi, in a press release. “In some cases, a Luxe subscription can be up to 40 percent cheaper than current monthly parking options. And if used for work purposes, coupled with employer-provided commuter benefits, many subscribers may be eligible to save an additional $900 a year.”
The company offers different monthly subscription plans based on how often drivers use the service, and where they are located. The Luxe Commuter option is priced from $139 to $369 per month and is intended for daytime use at the driver’s workplace. There are three different levels, depending on how many times you wish to park during the day and your usage throughout the week.
There’s also a Luxe Residential plan that ranges from $224 to $599 per month and is for those who need the service at their home. It covers everything from the “occasional Sunday driver to the reverse commuter leaving the city every day for work.”

Lastly, there’s Luxe Unlimited, which costs between $339 and $799 per month and is for the power user — drivers receive unlimited parking privileges and can store their car overnight.
One of the perks with any of the above plans is the inclusion of Luxe Car Care. This is a monthly program that features discounts on popular car services: drivers can get $5 off unlimited car washes, $15 off unlimited oil changes, and can avoid surcharges on up to four gas refills. Even if you don’t want to take advantage of the monthly plans, Luxe says you can purchase the car care option for $19.99 per month.
“By introducing new Luxe Subscriptions and Luxe Car Care, we are making it simple for people to own a car and get to what they want to do and enjoy, by making parking and maintaining a car an affordable, flexible, and convenient experience,” Farhi explained.
In the battle between Luxe and rival Zirx, the deciding factor will be which one treats their customers better and provides a more rewarding experience. With the release of its subscription services, Luxe is aiming to take the headache out of car ownership, especially for city drivers. In San Francisco, for example, many people don’t have garages or private parking, so giving them an option to place their vehicles in a safe location provides peace of mind so they can continue about their day.
Of course, the addition of Car Care is beneficial for drivers who just don’t have the time to take their car in to get an oil change, fill up on gas, or even get it washed — having these matters tended to is a real convenience at $20 a month.
This new set of plans comes just months after the company debuted its scheduled return feature.
Monthly subscriptions had been tested over the past few months in preparation for launch. You can now purchase a plan directly from within the Luxe app.
