Marc Andreessen & Bill Gates agree with Fox News on this: Snowden is a traitor

Silicon Valley investor and technologist Marc Andreessen today declared NSA whistleblower Ed Snowden a traitor on national television.

Andreessen has defended the NSA in the past, but the investor’s latest statements mirror those of Bill Gates, countless U.S. government officials, and, of course, Fox News.

Although Andreessen does not speak for the entire tech industry, his words hold great weight; he created the first popular Web browser, played a role in the development of HTML, and now maintains local-celebrity status as a cofounder of VC giant Andreessen Horowitz.

For me obviously he’s a traitor. If you look up in the encyclopedia ‘traitor,’ there’s a picture of Ed Snowden.

The Snowden reveals keep coming out. The [Obama] administration is letting the NSA out to dry. They’re letting the American tech industry out to dry.

Back at the Snowden-hero camp, you’ll find Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak.
