A new rumor is breathing life into Microsoft’s much-awaited Surface mini tablet.
Microsoft’s “Surface Mini is back in production, in anticipation of a summer release,” writes long-time, often reliable mobile news leaker @evleaks.

But contrary to numerous reports, Microsoft did not launch a smaller Surface tablet during the May 20 unveiling of the Surface Pro 3. And shortly after, we explained why Microsoft may have delayed the launch of a petite Surface tablet.
We’ll find out if the device has legs soon, as only one report suggests it’s currently in production. Until then, take this rumor with a grain of salt, even if @evleaks has a history of credible leaks.
