Microsoft starts selling 1TB versions of Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 alongside gold Surface Pen

Microsoft has officially launched the 1 terabyte (TB) versions of its Surface Book and Surface Pro 4, alongside a new gold version of its Surface Pen stylus.

Microsoft has received positive reviews for its first own-brand laptop — the Surface Book — which was announced back in October and is the latest version of its popular tablet, the Surface Pro 4. But these have never been cheap devices, with the least expensive Surface Book priced at around $1,500 for 128GB of storage and an Intel Core i5 processor.

While the company did reveal earlier that 1TB versions were in the cards, those have hitherto been restricted to preorders. Today, however, anyone in the U.S. or Canada can buy a 1TB version of either device, though you’ll have to shell out a hefty $3,200 (Surface Book) or $2,700 (Surface Pro 4). Both products come with a 6th Generation Intel Core™ i7 processor and 16GB of RAM.

Microsoft has also launched a new gold version of its Surface Pen in the U.S, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden. It comes with the same $60 price tag as the three earlier color variations.
