In a mobile-first world, those enterprise companies able to engage consumers successfully on their go-everywhere devices are winning marketshare. That may be kind of obvious. But not so obvious is how successful enterprise brands are able to do this with mobile marketing automation.
VB Insight surveyed 19 MMA providers for its Mobile Marketing Automation report, along with 376 mobile developers, and analyzed 1.8 million apps in Google Play and the iOS app store. It was a massive report, and we can confidently say the most complete report on mobile marketing automation available.
What we discovered is that many of the solutions out there perform well when it comes to meeting the needs of startups and mid-size entrepreneurs, but they simply can’t scale to meet the needs of enterprise or tackle the volume of data involved in large-size businesses.
Companies like Starbucks, Walgreens, Macy’s, and AccuWeather — which powers forecasts for over a billion people globally — all rely on MMA.
