Motorola launches Moto Body health tracker & custom watch face maker for Moto 360

Today Motorola announced a handful of new features and accessories for its Moto 360 smartwatch, including a “Moto Body” feature for tracking your “steps, distance, heart rate, and calories” and a new “My Design watch face option” that lets users create custom watch faces.

Today’s updates may help lure in new Moto 360 buyers before the Apple Watch hits the market. Motorola shares that these updates will go live to users via a Motorola Connect app update.

In addition to the software updates, Motorola today announced new “light and dark metal bands” for the 360 (available today) and shared that “slim bands” will be sold soon for those with smaller wrists.
