Social news aggregator Nuzzel is rolling out a handful of custom news feed pages that show what founders and investors at the top venture capital firms are reading every day.

The move comes weeks after the startup has success with its first experimental custom news page that aggregated a list of the top links shared by the top 1,000 angel investors on AngelList, as VentureBeat previously reported.

Nuzzel aggregates news according to who is sharing links on Twitter and Facebook, which lets you know about the most talked-about articles of the day or even just the past few hours. Think of it as sort of like a Twitter Trending feed, but far more useful.

Today the startup is rolling out custom news feeds for partners at Andreessen Horowitz, 500 Startups, SoftTech VC, TechStars, Founders Den, and Y Combinator. That means when you navigate to the custom news feed pages for each of these organizations, you’ll be able to see the most talked-about/shared news links from the group’s partners.

“Eventually, all Nuzzel users will be able to create custom news feeds from Twitter lists, but not today,” Nuzzel founder Jonathan Abrams told VentureBeat. To add people to a custom news feed requires them to have a Twitter account for now, which Abrams said makes things easier, since the majority of Twitter accounts are publicly available.

“Currently, we are not aggregating data from Facebook for any public Nuzzel feeds, primarily due to privacy concerns,” Abrams added. “It seems safer to base public feeds solely on public Twitter accounts for now. In the future, we may investigate whether it makes sense to include any public data from Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google+ in our public feeds, but right now we are building the first version of this platform based on public Tweets.”

You can check out the custom Nuzzel feeds for startup organizations via a new page on Nuzzel’s website.
