Even before Apple set foot in the smartphone industry, rumors of a tablet iDevice ran wild.
Like today, overzealous designers jumped at the chance to imagine Apple’s future iPad. In fact, this recently surfaced mockup dates back to 2004 — it was discovered by The Next Web on an old Mac Rumors forum.
This iPad design concept was just entertaining guesswork. But, interestingly enough, the designer got the “iPad” name right.
