It is down intermittently, which is preventing people from logging into Sony’s online gaming service. This is causing players to encounter errors when they go to boot up online multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Black Ops III or Destiny. It is also causing problems for primarily single-player games that rely on a third-party server connection, like Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
Sony hasn’t updated its status webpage to confirm the troubles, but a significant number of gamers are complaining about PSN on social media. We’ll update this post with any new information from Sony.
