Yet another mobile advertising platform has tossed its hat into the ring: Ringleader Digital (formerly MoPhap), a New York-based firm funded by a marketing company.
Ringleader says it has developed a simplified platform that is “device-agnostic”, and will work well across different publishers and networks. The company uses a third party to serve its ads.
Although it seems Ringleader might be a bit late to the game against rivals like Admob and AOL’s Third Screen Media, its investor, a marketer called W2 Group, may give it some advantage.
According to the Ringleader, W2 has a portfolio of tech and healthcare companies that may use Ringleader to advertise. It has also already partnered with a few brands, including Absolut and Blu-ray.
