Sentient Technologies is aiming what it calls massively scalable artificial intelligence on huge problems of data analysis.
Now the company will have a whole lot more capital to pursue that ambitious goal: It has raised a $103.5 million Series C funding round, led by Access Industries, bringing its total money raised to date to more than $143 million.

Tata Communications and existing investor Horizons Ventures also participated in the round.
