Holger Luedorf is vice president of mobile partnerships at Foursquare. Luedorf will do a one-on-one chat with VentureBeat editor-in-chief Matt Marshall about how Foursquare started as a small company, got noticed and rose to the top ranks of the location-based entertainment market. Holger has held various positions in internet and mobile services since 1998. Before Foursquare, Luedorf worked as senior director of strategic partnerships at Yahoo Mobile. He also worked at T-Mobile International and Red Message.

Aunkur Arya is responsible for mobile partnerships in North America at Google. He focuses on developing the iPhone and Android publisher network in North America. Arya joined Google through its acquisition of AdMob earlier this year. He works with the mobile app ecosystem to help developers create new revenue streams for the mobile business. Arya has spent the past 10 years creating, commercializing and marketing innovative mobile and internet products. Prior to AdMob, he managed strategic partnerships at July Systems and also worked at ComScore Networks and InfoSpace. He will appear on our panel on Follow the Money, about the monetization of apps.
Matthew Bellows is founder of Yesware, which blends video, games, email and CRM to improve the professional lives of salespeople. Prior to founding Yesware, Bellows served in executive roles for companies in the games and communications industries. He was the co-founder of the Wireless Gaming Review, the leading publication for mobile entertainment consumers. He sold WGR to CNET Networks in 2004. He will moderate our fireside chat with Sebastien DeHalleux, co-founder of Playfish, which Electronic Arts acquired for $400 million in 2009.
Garrick Schmitt is managing director West, experience and platforms for Razorfish. He helps Razorfish’s clients think about their brands differently, placing emphasis on creating great customer experiences. He has been with Razorfish since 1999 and has helped many Fortune 500 firms apply user experience design and technology to build better brands. He contributes to the Razorfish Digital Brand Experience Report and the Advertising Age Digital Next blog. He will appear on our panel on Big Media Gets Moving.
Jennifer Scott Fonstad is managing director of venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Fonstad is one of the most senior women in venture capital today. She invests broadly in early stage companies with recent investments in mobile applications, consumer and enterprise application services, and energy management. Her investment successes include Athenahealth, Lumenos, Achex, and NetZero. She sits on the investment committees for DFJ Frontier, DFJ’s partner fund in California, DFJ Tamir Fishman, DFJ’s partner fund in Israel, and is an adviser to the DFJ China and DFJ Vietnam teams. She joined DFJ in 1997. She will appear on our panel on Investing in Discovery, moderated by VentureBeat executive editor Owen Thomas.
Sunil Verma is co-founder of Mobclix, the mobile ad exchange firm that was recently acquired by Velti. He heads the daily operations for the company. Previously, he was a partner in Venus Capital’s Private Equity Group, where he focused on investments in digital media in the U.S. and India. He also worked with growth equity firm Gabriel Venture Partners, Catapult Advisors, Tavant Technologies, and Next Gen Partners.
Yukari Kane is a staff reporter at the Wall Street Journal. Based in San Francisco, she has been writing about technology for nearly 15 years and has covered everything from telecoms to consumer electronics to video games in Chicago, San Francisco and Tokyo.
