It’s the holiday season, and that means vacation. But, try as we may, we’re still tethered to our phones, answering emails between bites of gingerbread cookies and crackles of a yule log. I thought my email volume was going to go down for a few days, until I was undaunted with holiday greetings from people I had barely spoken to in years and from apps I did not even remember downloading.

So, to save us all an email headache this holiday season, I designed a simple flow chart to help you decide if you should mass-email everyone a holiday greeting this week:
